Sonia Ruba – Physiotherapist

Family Circle Medical Practice welcomed Mrs. Sonia Ruba in 2024 as our first physiotherapist, and she quickly made an impact on many patients of the practice.

Sonia a highly distinguished physiotherapist who brings over 20 years of invaluable experience to our team. She has been collaborating with leading orthopaedic surgeons in Newcastle for over 15 years, providing exceptional care and comprehensive rehabilitation, specialising in orthopaedic pre and post operative rehabilitation.

Sonia is renowned for her patient-centered approach, focusing on restoring function and improving quality of life through tailored rehabilitation programs. Her extensive experience and dedication make her a trusted expert in her field.

Mrs. Sonia Ruba is now accepting new patients and EPC referrals under a care plan.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate Entry Masters of Physiotherapy Studies (University of Queensland, St Lucia)
  • Honours Program in Sports Marketing
  • Bachelor of Human Movement Science Honours (Central Queensland University, Rockhampton) with a major in Exercise Science and Sports Marketing.
