It is a pleasure to welcome Simeon Evans an exceptional mental health nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience to our family. Simeon is currently working at the Calvary Mater Hospital as an Emergency Mental Health Nurse Practitioner since 2017 assisting our community in their darkest moments. Simeon deals with patient aged 13 years and older struggling with mental health.

Simeon is well versed in dealing with Anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, compulsive disorders, adjustment disorders, alcohol & drug dependence, substance abuse, grief, PTSD, eating disorders and personality disorders. He will provide insight and counselling coupled with initiating appropriate medication when indicated. He also conducts detailed assessment for ADHD in adolescents and adults to provide clarity in diagnosis and management.

You are able to seek treatment from Simeon directly without a referral. His working days are Tue and Wed.

  • Assessment for Advanced Practice Mental Health Nurses
  • Psychopharmacology for Advanced Practice Mental Health Nurses, University of Western Sydney
  • Master of Nursing (research), First class honours. Auckland University
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Health Science: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Health Science: Mental Health Nursing
  • Diploma of Higher Education in Nursing (Mental Health), University of Plymouth, UK
