Dr Joseph Ashford

Family Circle Medical Practice is excited to welcome Dr Joseph Ashford to the team in February 2026. Dr Joe joins us from Windale Medical Centre and will be a much welcomed addition to the team.

Initially graduating from Griffith University with his Doctor of Medicine, Joe went on to gain valuable experience in a variety of specialties, working across Calvary Mater Hospital, Maitland Hospital and Tweed Heads Hospital before practicing at Windale Medical Centre. He now joins the Family Circle team in February, welcoming new and exisiting patients of the practice.

Dr Ashford has special interest in men’s health, emergency/urgent care, chronic disease, geriatrics and general medicine.

A proud Newcastle local, Joe is an avid sports enthusiast, spending his spare time surfing or playing Oz-tag, soccer or touch football.
