ADHD Medication & Prescribing
We are pleased to offer ADHD prescribing and management as part of our general practice services, in line with the latest NSW healthcare reforms. Recent changes in NSW mean that specially trained GPs can now play a larger role in ADHD treatment. This helps reduce long wait times and allows patients to receive care from a doctor who already knows them.
What our GPs can offer:
Dr Simon Tyler and Dr Ravi Stephen can provide prescriptions for ADHD medications if the patient has already been diagnosed by a specialist,and has recently been on stable medication. Patients will need to provide a copy of a recent ADHD prescription and an ADHD treatment plan if available.
How to book:
Please phone Family Circle Medical 02 4962 1900 and our friendly administration team will book you a 30 minute consultation for an ADHD review and update of your prescription. Your initial consulation will cost $300.00, with a medicare rebate of $84.90 available.
Who is eligble?
Anyone with a prior ADHD diagnosis that has recently been on stable ADHD medication. You do not need to be an existing patient of the practice.
